The Ride
The Ride for Reed is a Charity Ride sponsored by the Knights of Columbus in Milford designed to raise money for Operation Gift Cards.

Operation Gift Cards
Operation Gift Cards is a program put on by the Veterans of Connecticut among 34 different chapters of varios organizations.
The American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and others have come together to support our troops home from overseas.
The Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization focused on Charity. Founded in 1882, in New Haven, Connecticut, the Knights has grown toto more than 13,000 councils and 1.7 million members throughout the United States and other countries, including Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Bahamas, Cuba, Poland, and the Philippines.
American Legion
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, war-time veterans organization, devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is a not-for-profit community-service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million members, men and women, in nearly 15,000 American Legion posts worldwide.
What & Why
The Ride for Reed is a charity motorcycle poker run to raise money to assist our wounded servicemen and servicewomen. The funds raised through rider fees, sponsorships, and raffles will be used to support Operation Gift Cards and Friends of Fisher House Connecticut. The ride is being put on by the Knights of Columbus Assembly #1605 of Milford, CT.
Operation Gift Cards is a joint effort of 34 Connecticut Chapters, Posts, Detachments, and Units of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Marine Corp League, Military Order of the Purple Heart, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Registration will run from 10:00-11:00am
First bikes leave at 11:00am
Following the ride return to the Knights for a BBQ lunch and music.
A donation of $25 per rider and $10 per passenger is requested. Checks should be made payable to:
